Notice To Vacate

A written notice from either the landlord or tenant stating the intent to end the tenancy. In Tennessee, month-to-month tenancies require 30 days notice. For lease violations, the notice period depends on the violation type. The notice must be properly served. Sliding it under the door or taping it to the window may not count as valid service depending on your lease terms.
