Money owed to the property owner that has not been collected yet. Unpaid rent, outstanding late fees, utility reimbursements, and damage charges all sit in AR. A growing accounts receivable balance means your collection process is failing. In property management, AR older than 60 days is unlikely to be collected without legal action.
