Trust Account
A separate bank account where a property manager holds tenant security deposits and owner funds. Tennessee law requires these funds to be kept separate from the PM company's operating money. Commingling trust funds with company funds is a license-revocation offense. If your PM cannot show you a trust account statement, that is a serious problem.
