Right Of Entry
The landlord's legal right to enter the rental property for specific purposes: repairs, inspections, showing to prospective tenants, or emergencies. Tennessee requires reasonable notice (typically 24 hours as specified in the lease) for non-emergency entry. The only exception is a genuine emergency where waiting would cause damage or endanger safety. Entering without proper notice is trespassing, even if you own the property.
