Onboarding

The process of bringing a new property into management. Includes property inspection, lease review, tenant notification, vendor setup, insurance verification, trust account funding, and system configuration. Good onboarding takes 1-2 weeks and sets the foundation for everything after. A PM that rushes onboarding will spend the next six months fixing problems they should have caught on day one.
