Fixed-Term Lease
A lease with a specific start and end date, typically 12 months. The tenant is obligated for the full term, and the landlord cannot raise rent or change terms until it expires. Fixed-term leases provide income predictability. If a tenant breaks a fixed-term lease early, they are still liable for rent until the unit is re-rented or the term ends, whichever comes first.
